What's inside
A stainless steel replacement cap for the KinoGEM. With a hard folding handle built into the top.
The handle folds flat. Up when you want to carry the bottle by it, down and out of the way when you do not.
Also sold in multi-packs. If you want one for the bottle and one to leave in a bag.
How to use
Thread it on hand tight. Snug, not forced. Overtightening a cap is how a seal gets damaged.
Lift the handle to carry, fold it down to pack. Folded, it sits flush enough not to catch on the inside of a bag.
Do not clip it to a pack. The handle is made for a hand, not as a carabiner point for a full bottle.
Hand wash the cap. Warm water and mild soap, then let it dry fully before threading it back on.
Why we made it this way
Because a cap is the part you lose. Bottles outlast their caps. A cap gets left on a counter, dropped, or cross-threaded, and losing it should not retire an otherwise good bottle.
Because a fixed handle is annoying and no handle is worse. A rigid loop catches on everything in a bag. Nothing to hold means carrying a tall bottle by its middle. A handle that folds flat is the version that solves both.
Because stainless is the right material for a part you handle wet. It does not stain, hold odor, or go brittle the way a plastic cap eventually does.
