Calcium and magnesium from one rock, assayed for heavy metals.

A natural dolomitic lime supplement providing 144 mg of calcium and 68 mg of magnesium per tablet, naturally co-occurring at roughly a 2 to 1 ratio, as dictated by Dr. Reams. Assayed for heavy metals. 100 tablets.

  • ✓Assayed for heavy metals. Printed on our own label. Dolomite is mined rather than manufactured, which is exactly why that line is worth having.
  • ✓144 mg of calcium per tablet. From dolomitic lime, a naturally occurring mineral rather than a blended formula.
  • ✓68 mg of magnesium per tablet. From the same rock, co-occurring with the calcium at roughly 2 to 1.
  • ✓One source, both minerals. No blending required. The ratio is a property of the mineral itself.
  • ✓Bone, muscle, and nerve. Calcium and magnesium support bone strength and structure, normal muscle and nerve function, and act as enzyme cofactors.*

What's inside

Assayed for heavy metals. First on the list, because in this category it is the line that matters most. Why we made it this way has the reasoning.

144 mg of calcium per tablet. From dolomitic lime.

68 mg of magnesium per tablet. From the same source, naturally co-occurring with the calcium at roughly a 2 to 1 ratio.

As dictated by Dr. Reams. The source and the ratio both.

100 tablets per bottle.

How to use

Take as directed on the label.

With food. Mineral tablets generally go down easier with a meal.

Spread multiples across the day rather than taking them together.

Space it from iron, zinc, and thyroid medication. A few hours.

Why we made it this way

Dolomite is a naturally occurring mineral that contains calcium and magnesium together, in a ratio of roughly 2 to 1, because that is how the rock forms. You do not have to blend them.

Because it is mined rather than manufactured, dolomite carries whatever the deposit carries, and heavy metal content in mineral supplements has been written about for decades. We would rather raise that than have you wonder about it.

Which is why one line on our label matters more than anything else on this page: this product has been assayed for heavy metals. That is a specific, checkable thing we do, and in this category it is not a given. What we will not do is promise you the complete absence of any metal, because that is an absolute nobody can honestly claim about a mined mineral. Testing is something we perform. Absolute purity is something a seller asserts. We will do the first and not the second.

About this product

Dolomite is a holistic wellness product. It is a dietary supplement providing 144 mg of calcium and 68 mg of magnesium per tablet from dolomitic lime. Calcium and magnesium support bone strength and structure and normal muscle and nerve function.* It is not a medical treatment. Results vary, and it is intended to be used at your own discretion as part of a broader healthy-living routine. Consult your physician before use if you have a medical condition or are taking medication.

Who reaches for it

Adults who want calcium and magnesium from one naturally co-occurring source rather than two separate supplements.

People following a Reams-style program where dolomitic lime is specified.

Anyone who has read about heavy metals in dolomite and wants a seller who will say something about it.

Cautions

What assayed means and does not mean. It means the product is tested for heavy metals. It does not mean zero, and no mined mineral supplement can honestly claim zero.

Split the dose. The body absorbs calcium best in amounts of about 500 mg at a time. If your serving is larger than that, spread it across the day rather than taking it all at once.

Kidney stones or kidney disease. If you have a history of either, talk to your physician before starting any calcium supplement.

Separate it from other supplements and medication. Calcium can interfere with the absorption of iron, zinc, and some prescription medications, including thyroid medication and certain antibiotics. Leave a few hours between them.

Do not exceed the label. More calcium is not better, and total intake from food plus supplements is what counts.

Pregnancy and nursing. Consult your physician first.

Magnesium and loose stool. Magnesium can loosen stool at higher intakes. Back the dose off if it does.

Keep out of reach of children. For adults only.
