The H2CAP is a portable cap-format hydrogen water generator using SPE/PEM electrolysis. Threads onto a standard water bottle, produces 1,000 ppb or more dissolved molecular hydrogen in about three and a half minutes, with an ORP around minus 400 mV. Charges via USB-C. Companion form factor to the H2POD® for the person who prefers a cap over a purpose-built bottle.

What's inside
H2CAP hydrogen water generator. Compact cap format that threads onto a standard water bottle. Weighs 1.8 oz. Uses SPE/PEM (solid polymer electrolyte / proton exchange membrane) electrolysis, the same category of technology used by the higher-output portable hydrogen generators on the market.
Included 15.9 oz BPA-free bottle. Purpose-fit bottle sized to the cap. Detachable for cleaning.
USB-C charging cable. Charges from any USB-C source. Wall adapter is not included.

Output specifications. 1,000 ppb or more of dissolved molecular hydrogen in about 3 minutes 30 seconds. ORP around minus 400 mV, depending on source water. Purified water is recommended for consistent output and to minimize scale buildup on the electrolysis plates.
How that compares to the published range. 1,000 ppb is 1.0 mg/L. Published hydrogen water research generally works between 0.5 mg/L and 1.6 mg/L, and 1.6 mg/L is the saturation concentration at one atmosphere.
How to use
Step 1. Fill the included bottle with purified water and thread the H2CAP on top. Do not run the device dry, and do not remove the sticker on the bottom of the cap. Both will void the warranty.
Step 2. Activate the electrolysis cycle. The white LED indicates the H2CAP is generating hydrogen. Constant orange indicates the cycle is complete and the water is ready to drink.
Step 3. Drink immediately after generation. Dissolved molecular hydrogen dissipates from the water over minutes to hours, which is why on-demand generation is the point of a portable device.
Cleaning. A blinking orange LED indicates mineral scale has built up on the electrolysis plates and the device needs a descaling cycle. Use the H2CAP Descaling Kit whenever this appears. Descaling is quick and hands-free.
Charging. Recharge via USB-C from a wall adapter, laptop, or power bank.
Why we made it this way
Molecular hydrogen (H2) dissolved in water has been the subject of extensive research, with hundreds of published studies examining its properties as a selective antioxidant.* The practical constraint on a hydrogen water routine is that dissolved H2 dissipates from water over time, so pre-packaged hydrogen water begins losing dissolved hydrogen the moment it is sealed and continues losing it in transit and on the shelf. On-demand generation with a portable device sidesteps that entirely.
The H2CAP is the cap-format version of that idea, and in our view one of the most technologically advanced portable hydrogen water generators you can carry. Some people prefer the cap because it works with any standard bottle they already carry, and because it produces water at concentrations in the same practical range as most portable units: 1,000 ppb and up, which sits inside the 1,000 to 1,600 ppb Henry's Law ceiling that peer-reviewed hydrogen water research operates within.
