What's inside
KinoPAD® EMS device. Handheld electrical muscle stimulation unit with 8 stimulation modes and 18 intensity settings.
Accessible controller. Adjust modes and intensity from an in-hand controller rather than from a mat on the floor. This is the reason Dr. Martin built it.
Two electrode pads. For placement on the calves, shoulders, back, or any target muscle group.
USB charging cable. Rechargeable battery. Automatic shut-off at the end of a session.
How to use
Place the pads. Apply electrode pads to clean, dry skin on the muscle group you want to work with. Do not place across the front of the neck, chest, or over an implanted device.
Start low. Begin at the lowest intensity, choose a mode, and step intensity up until you feel a steady, comfortable contraction.
Twenty minutes is a session. The unit shuts off on its own. Once daily is plenty. Up to three sessions a day is the ceiling in the shipped protocol.
Pads are consumables. Replace the electrode pads when they stop sticking evenly. Replacement pads are available separately.
Why we made it this way
Dr. Martin, who developed the KinoPAD, spent years using EMS at home for muscle conditioning and recovery. The device he was using worked, but it had two design flaws he could not get past. The controller sat on the floor, so every adjustment meant bending down. And the pads on that unit were fixed to a mat, so you could only stimulate one part of the body.
The KinoPAD fixes both problems. The controller is in your hand, so seniors and anyone with mobility limits can change modes and intensity without bending. The two removable electrode pads can go anywhere you want to place them, calves, shoulders, lower back, thighs, so a single device covers a whole recovery routine.
EMS clearance covers muscle conditioning and, in TENS mode, temporary relief of muscle pain. That is what we designed this device to do well.*

Warranty and returns
Warranty. Ninety days from date of purchase. If the KinoPAD stops functioning within that period, we replace it at no charge.
Returns. Due to sanitary handling, opened KinoPADs are final sale.
