KinoRAY®
Three wavelengths at once, not three panels.
A red and near infrared light therapy panel that broadcasts 630 nm, 660 nm, and 850 nm simultaneously. Ships with rechargeable batteries, protective eyewear, and a carry bag.
- ✓Three wavelengths, simultaneously. 630 nm and 660 nm visible red plus 850 nm near infrared, broadcast together rather than one mode at a time.
- ✓Built on a real research base. Red and near infrared light therapy has an extensive published literature, and this panel covers the wavelength range that literature uses.*
- ✓Cytochrome c oxidase is the photoacceptor. Near infrared light has been shown in laboratory work to shift the redox state of this mitochondrial enzyme (Karu 2005).*
- ✓Cordless during use. Rechargeable batteries are included, so you are not working around an outlet.
- ✓Eyewear in the box. The 850 nm output is invisible, so protective glasses ship with the panel and are required during every session.
Wellness device, not FDA-cleared · Batteries, eyewear, and carry bag included · Distributed by Longevity Formulas, Inc.
What's inside
Three wavelengths, broadcast at the same time. 630 nm and 660 nm in the visible red range, 850 nm in the near infrared range. You are not cycling through modes or buying three panels.
Rechargeable batteries. Included, so the panel is not tethered to an outlet while you use it.
Protective eyewear. Included, and required. Near infrared at 850 nm is invisible, which means your blink reflex will not protect you from it.
Zipper carry bag. Included for storage and travel.
How to use
Distance. Hold or position the panel roughly 12 to 24 inches from the area you are working on. Closer is not automatically better.
Session length. Start at 1 to 2 minutes per area for your first week, then build toward about 10 minutes per area as you learn how your skin responds.
Frequency. Three to five sessions a week per area is the pattern most people settle into. Daily is fine. More per session is not the lever.
Eyewear on, every time. Wear the included glasses whenever the panel is on.
Give it 90 days. Light therapy is a consistency product, not a single-session product. Evaluate after three months of regular use, not three days.*
Why we made it this way
Most panels on the market pick one wavelength and build the whole device around it. That forces you to choose: red for the surface, or near infrared for depth. We put 630 nm, 660 nm, and 850 nm in one housing and broadcast them together, because the research base does not present those wavelengths as competing options.
The mechanism people point to is cytochrome c oxidase, an enzyme in the mitochondrial respiratory chain. Near infrared light at 830 nm has been shown in laboratory work to shift the redox state of cytochrome c oxidase, which is the photoacceptor identified in the cellular response to red and near infrared light (Karu et al., J Photochem Photobiol B 2005). That is a laboratory finding about a mechanism, not a promise about your body.*
We also kept the accessories in the box instead of selling them separately. Batteries, eyewear, and a carry bag ship with the panel.
About this product
KinoRAY is a holistic wellness product. It is a red and near infrared light therapy device and is not an FDA-cleared medical device for the treatment of any medical condition. It is not a medical treatment. Results vary, and it is intended to be used at your own discretion as part of a broader healthy-living routine. Consult your physician before use if you have a medical condition or are taking medication.
Who reaches for it
Adults who have read the red and near infrared light research and want a panel that covers the wavelength range that research uses.
People already running a recovery routine who want a light-therapy step in it.
Anyone stacking focused panel work with KinoBELT for broad wrap coverage or KinoPAD for targeted stimulation.
Cautions
Eyewear is not optional. Wear the included glasses during every session. The 850 nm output is invisible, so your eyes will not warn you.
Recent eye surgery. If you have had LASIK or other eye surgery, talk to your eye doctor before use.
Tattoos. Black pigment absorbs light strongly and can heat. Keep sessions short over heavily tattooed skin and stop if it feels hot.
Implants, fillers, and injectables. If you have breast implants, medical implants, or recent botox or dermal filler, check with your provider first.
Photosensitizing medication. Some medications and topicals raise light sensitivity, including tetracycline antibiotics, digoxin, and retinoid creams. Ask your prescriber before starting.
Pregnancy, nursing, and steroid use. Consult your physician before use.
